Actress and Singer Alison LoryALISON LORY (AEA / SAG / AFTRA) is enjoying a career that started in New Jersey at The McCarter Theater. She made her NYC debut in the Original Broadway Cast of the TONY Nominated musical, “The Scarlet Pimpernel” (1.0 & 2.0) Her solo concert, “Distant Melody” at the Laurie Beechman theater was attended and highly praised by industry giants as well as some of Broadway’s top music directors.  Other venues include Town Hall, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, regional theaters and network television.

Originally trained by the legendary Marni Nixon and the late Dodi Protero (Juilliard) as a lyric coloratura, she also has a firm grasp on the contemporary Pop/Country/Folk genre, having performed with luminary artists from LA and Nashville. Alison has performed in numerous straight plays and comedies ranging from Neil Simon to Shakespeare all the way to new works in development.

She holds a B.A in Theater from Muhlenberg College and a Master’s Degree in High School Literacy from Fordham University. When not performing, Alison is proud to be a tutor at the Ronald McDonald House in NYC and has taught in some of New York City’s most challenging schools. Alison dedicates all her work to her Levy family.
